Finding a Networking group that is right for you is difficult – finding one that helps you meet the right sort of customers, suppliers, service companies and experts is nearly impossible – but this Quarter has seen the launch of Networking for the Food Chain. These are networking sessions specifically developed for anyone working in the Food Chain – from Farm to fork and all points in-between. Refrigeration technology has always caused restaurants major issues – as cold air rapidly leaves fridges when doors open – drawing in warm moist air – this causes quality issues such as dehydration, and ice build-up, as well as numerous food safety and cooking problems. We have been working with an innovative refrigeration company to develop great solutions that significantly improve quality, reduce Food Safety issues & reduce energy consumption. A truly great, green food safety initiative.

Innovation will continue to drive our business – we are working on a number of key projects throughout the supply chain, that are aimed at improving animal welfare, enhancing Daily Live Weight Gain, reducing Green House Gas emissions and reducing the microbial loading of poultry leaving the farm.
